Mass Control Madness (I did not buy in)

Sunday, February 3rd, 2008

Mass Control Madness hit my inbox this past week and throughout the month of January.  Emails coming from all of the big guys and a few of the smaller and up an coming marketers.  I counted over 125 emails came in to all of the different email accounts I use for the different products I have out.  Mass Control must have had a great affiliate commission as well.  There must have been a nice affiliate contest for Mass Control as well.  Frank Kern is without a doubt a teriffic marketer.  He had a launch and sold out with in several minutes of opening the Digital Flood Gates.  After the first “Block” of purchasers was taken; he put a notice on the Mass Control website telling you Mass Control was temporarily sold out.  What was the most effective piece of the page announcing the temporary status of Mass Control?  To get your Name and email address.  How did the page do that?  The page let you know he was working on building up his staff and would be opening the Digital Flood Gates again shortly for a very limited amount of time.  If you wanted to be notified when Mass Control was going to be open again just fill out the short simple form with your name and email address.  BANG!  Got you again. Even if you didn’t buy Mass Control, you could have learn so much from reading the emails that were sent out promoting the product, the videos, the blog posts, and the site itself.  If you went to the website now you would see the status is sold out, but you can watch the free videos and read the Mass Control blog posts.  I honestly didn’t know how much the product cost was and have no idea if the product everything it was Hyped up to be.  I know at least one thing.  Frank had such and effective marketing plan and created the hype and desire for Mass Control that ultimately produced a complete sell out with in hours and possibly minutes of this product.  Hats off to you Frank Kern.

Obviously, there are many individuals who purchased Mass Control.  I would love for you to post your views of the product here.

Friday, December 21st, 2007

I’m just getting the hang of this Twitter stuff.

What is twitter you ask? It’s a way to for people to stay in contact with each other via quick short little messages that you post to your twitter account via web site, sms, or one of the many api tools that have been created.

Go ahead and see what have I been up to lately.
